Firefighter Conditioning

Orange County Fire Authority is one of the most motivated fire departments Concept2 CTS has seen. Under the watchful eye of Captain Michael A. Contreras, Wellness and Fitness Program Coordinator, Orange County Fire Authority takes their training seriously. Like many fire and police departments and military units, Orange County Fire Authority has incorporated CrossFit workouts into their training. Luckily for us, the Concept2 Indoor Rower fits in well with this type of training.

When it comes to training, CrossFit, Concept2 CTS, and the Orange County Fire Authority have similar philosophies. We think the Orange County Fire Authority motto sums it up best: "Train Like Your Life Depends on It, It Just Might."

For information on challenges that you can be a part of, go to our University/Club Standings page where you can learn how to create a club/team, add members, and start accumulating meter totals.

We'd like to showcase your fire department. If you have any training photos showing how your fire company uses the indoor rower for training, please send them our way to Greg Hammond at gregh@concept2cts.com.
